Hydrostatic steering is an hydraulic steKKering system that does not require mechanical steering linkage. In place of mechanical linkage, a steering unit and steering cylinders along with flexible hoses are used.

Hidros provide KK series steering columns which transfer the torque from the steering wheel of the vehicle to HKU, HKUS or other steering units of the same class. KKM series are used together with HKUM series steering units. These steering columns consist of a pipe in which the control shaft is centered.

Description

Max. torque applied to steering wheel: 24 daNm
Max. bending moment: 20 daNm
Max. axial load: 100 daN

The steering column must be additionally supported when the length L exceeds 150 mm.
